WordPress AI: artificial intelligence for your website and your business
AI assistants that work on your website through an MCP server, chatbots that answer with your real information and automations that take repetitive tasks off your plate. Always with permissions and a log.
Three ways to use AI in your WordPress site
Not everyone needs the same thing. Some people want an assistant to help them work inside their website, some want their customers to find answers without waiting, and some just want to stop copying data from one tool to another.
MCP server
Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants work with your WordPress or WooCommerce site using the permissions you choose, without your admin password.
How an MCP server worksA chatbot that knows your business
A chatbot that answers using your website content, your products and your policies, and hands the conversation to a person when it is not sure of the answer.

n8n or Make connect WordPress and WooCommerce to your CRM, your email or your spreadsheets, with alerts if a workflow fails.

We check whether ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity can read your website, whether it has structured data for Google and whether it is a good candidate for an MCP server.
We help AI understand and cite your website, and connect it to Claude or ChatGPT.
A chatbot that looks after your customers
It answers with what is already published on your website, your product pages and your policies, and hands the conversation to a person when it is not sure of the answer. On WhatsApp too, through the official channel. The project assistant on this website is one we built ourselves.
AI assistants that work inside your WordPress site
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server is the door through which an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT gets into your website. It does not come in through the dashboard or with your user account: it comes in through a connection we set up, which only allows what you have authorised.
With that in place, the assistant can write and publish articles, design whole pages in your page builder, create products on the spot or optimise the entire site, and you decide what it can do without asking you. If you want the full detail, it is all in MCP server for WordPress.
Permissions, data and GDPR
The question we get asked most is: what if the AI touches something it should not? The answer lies in the design, not in promises.
Separate credentials for each connection
Every connection has its own access. We never use the admin account, so you can remove one connection without affecting the others.
Permissions per tool
Reading orders is not the same as editing a product or publishing a post. Each tool gets only the permission it needs.
Action log
Everything the assistant does is logged. If you want to know what changed and when, you just check.
GDPR before any personal data is connected
Before linking customers, orders or forms, we check what data travels, where it goes and on what legal basis. If something does not add up, it stays out.
What AI does not do (and you should know)
Better to find out before you sign up than after you try it.
It only publishes if you let it.
It can write, design and publish on its own, but that permission is yours to give. You can start by reviewing every change and loosen the reins once you see how it works.
It does not replace your customer service.
It handles the repetitive questions and passes the sensitive ones to a person. An angry customer needs someone, not a bot.
It does not know what you have not given it.
If the information on your website is outdated or incomplete, the chatbot's will be too. Sometimes the first job is to tidy up the content.
It is not always worth it.
If you get five enquiries a month, a chatbot is a cost with no return. If your problem is a slow or broken website, start with maintenance or development.
If, after hearing you out, we see that you do not need it, we will tell you.
How we get started
01. You tell us what you want
Which task eats up your time, which questions keep coming up, which tools you use.
02. Permissions and limits
What it can read, what it can change, what always goes to a person.
03. Set-up and testing
We build it and test it with real cases on a staging copy, not on your live website.
04. Documented handover
Including what it does, what it does not do and how to remove a connection. If you want us to keep it up to date, we will.
Who does the work
We are a studio from Oleiros (A Coruña, Spain) with 8 years of hands-on WordPress experience, working freelance since February 2018. You talk to the person who does the work, not to a go-between. Meetings are by video call and, if you are in the city of Barcelona, we can also meet in person.
Frequently asked questions about AI in WordPress
How can you add artificial intelligence to a WordPress website?
There are three routes, depending on what you need. A chatbot on your website that answers with your information, an MCP server so that an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT can work with your WordPress site, or n8n or Make automations between your website and other tools. After a conversation about your case, we will tell you which one fits and which one is not worth it.
What is the difference between a chatbot and connecting Claude or ChatGPT to my website?
The chatbot looks after your visitors: it answers their questions with your information and hands over to a person when it does not know. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT through an MCP server is for you and your team: the assistant writes and publishes on your blog, designs pages, creates products or optimises the site inside your WordPress, with the permissions you choose.
What happens to my customers' data if I use AI (GDPR)?
Before connecting any personal data, we check what information travels, where it goes and on what legal basis. Each connection has its own credentials and permissions, and there is a log of everything that is done. Anything that cannot be justified does not get connected.
