The most expensive part of a website is rarely what you can see. It is what has to be maintained afterwards. That is why, before writing a single line, we check whether what you need already exists.
If a well-known, well-maintained plugin solves your case, we use it. Writing custom code for the sake of it only leaves you with a bigger invoice and one more piece to keep an eye on. We write custom code when a plugin would force you to work its way, or when you would end up with five plugins stuck together to do a single job.
Design works in a similar way. A custom theme is lighter and does exactly what you need, without loading features you never use. A page builder is quicker to set up and easier to edit on your own. We choose based on who will edit the website and what it has to do, not on what is most convenient for us.

We work on a staging site, with frequent reviews so you can see progress and correct course in time. Your current website keeps running in the meantime.
04. We hand over
We move everything to production, check it and show you how to manage it. You keep all the logins.
05. We stay around
If you like, we look after it with a maintenance plan. If not, the website is yours and another professional can take it from there.

How much does a custom WordPress website cost?
It depends on the number of pages, the features and the tools it connects to. As a guide, a landing page starts at €250 + VAT, a blog at €350, a simple WooCommerce shop at €950 and a complex project (bookings, real estate, multi-vendor) at €2,500. Once we know the details of your case, we give you a fixed quote in writing.
How long does it take to build a WordPress website?
A landing page is nothing like a shop with members areas. The timeline depends on the scope and on how quickly the content and feedback arrive. We set it out in the quote, once we know what needs doing. And because we work with frequent reviews, you see progress without waiting until the end.
Is WooCommerce or Shopify better for an online shop?
Shopify is a rented platform: you get started quickly, but you pay a monthly fee and play by its rules. WooCommerce lives inside your WordPress: more freedom to adapt it, and the shop is yours. If you need very specific features or already have a WordPress site, WooCommerce is usually the better fit. If you want to start selling as soon as possible and barely touch anything, Shopify is also a reasonable option. We tell you which one suits your case, even if it is not the one we build.
Can I update the content myself once the website is finished?
Yes. It is part of the handover: we show you how to manage it and you keep the logins. If you would rather not touch it, we can take care of it with a maintenance plan.
What is the difference between a theme template and custom development?
A template comes ready-made and you adapt your business to it. Custom development starts from what you need and is built for that. A template is cheaper and faster if your case is simple. Custom work pays off when you have specific features, a very defined brand or a website that needs to grow. And custom does not mean from scratch: we use reliable plugins when they are enough.

Yes. First we review it to see what can be kept and what is worth rebuilding, and we explain it to you before quoting. While we work, your current website keeps running.
