This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
CleanTabs AI is a Chrome extension by AGENCIA RSE that proposes which tabs to close and closes them when you confirm. This policy explains what data it uses and where it stays. See the extension.
Summary
- We collect no data: the extension sends nothing to AGENCIA RSE or to third parties.
- No accounts, analytics, advertising or cookies.
- Everything is processed and stored in your browser.
What data the extension uses and why
- Title and address (URL) of your open tabs, to propose which to close. They are processed on your computer, with rules or with Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano), which also runs on your computer.
- Your preferences: domains and topics you mark as important, not important or work, work hours and mode.
- What it learns: for each site, how often you closed or kept it; and up to 200 corrections with the site, the tab title (up to 120 characters), the decision and the date.
- The last clean-up (URL, title and position of the closed tabs), so you can undo it.
- Recent AI answers (URL, title and decision for each tab, up to 500, for 12 hours), so the same tabs are not analysed again.
- Half-filled forms (only if you turn this on): the extension checks whether a page has unsent text in its fields. It only gets a yes/no answer; it does not read or store what you typed.
Where it is stored
In the extension's local storage in your browser (chrome.storage.local). It is not synced to other devices and never leaves your computer.
Who it is shared with
No one. The extension makes no network requests. The AI model is downloaded and managed by Google Chrome; according to Google, no data is sent to Google or third parties when using it.
