Menu editor
Distrito Burger
The menu, editable from the dashboard
A “Menu” section in WordPress where the team changes the name, price, description and photo or video of the 59 dishes on its 3 menus. Changes go into the existing design.
See the caseWhen your website needs something specific to your business, we build it as a plugin: independent of the theme, with the code in your hands and maintained when WordPress or WooCommerce change.
First we check whether a well-known, well-maintained plugin already does it. If one does, we tell you and set it up: writing your own code for the sake of it only leaves you a bigger bill and one more thing to watch.
It pays off when what you need is specific to your business, when the existing plugin forces you to work its way, when you would end up with five plugins glued together for one job, or when you depend on a closed plugin that fails and nobody can fix.
Calculators, valuation tools, configurators and pricing rules that run on the server, where nobody can see or tamper with them.
A section in the WordPress dashboard to change what changes often, like a menu or a catalogue, without being able to break the layout.
Connecting WordPress to your supplier, ERP, CRM or an external API, with brakes if the response is wrong and a way back.
Variations, stock, subscriptions, memberships and product fields WooCommerce does not include out of the box.
Moving content from one plugin or content type to another without losing translations, images or URLs.
Swapping a closed, abandoned or troublesome plugin for one of your own that does the same and can actually be fixed.
All of them run on real websites. Each one links to its case when we tell it on another page.

See the caseMemberships
Our own membership plugin
It replaces a closed plugin that could not be fixed and kept failing with renewals. It fixed more than 4,200 subscription records and assigns every renewal to the right person.
See the caseAI in WordPress
An AI assistant inside her WordPress
Lucía changes her website by talking to a chat, without going into the dashboard, with permissions made for her and undo on every change.
See the caseFavourites migration
Each member’s favourites, from one plugin to another
It moves the favourites every user had saved with Simple Favorites to My Favorites, automatically and without anyone losing their list.
See it on GitHub (opens in a new tab)Orbitalia is the SEO agency we work with on the technical side. We built these plugins for websites in its portfolio and for the agency itself.
Valuation tool
A home valuation tool instead of an external iframe
It calculates a price range by postcode on the server, saves each valuation as a lead with its consent and stops spam without a captcha. It is added with an Elementor widget.
See the caseIntegration
The wholesaler's catalogue, in sync
It matches the wholesaler's API with WooCommerce by SKU: stock every hour and cost every night, with brakes against incomplete responses and every run reversible.
See the caseMigration
From WooCommerce to a content type of its own
The site used WooCommerce only as a catalogue. We moved its listings to a content type of their own, keeping the WPML translations and the URLs with 301 redirects, so WooCommerce could be switched off.
Performance
A mega menu that loads each panel when opened
On BarcinoGifts, the home page HTML went from 780 to 509 KB: each page carries only the links, and the full panel arrives when someone opens it.
Maintenance
A guard for Elementor CSS
It detects when an update leaves the website without styles and repairs it on its own. It is active on every Elementor site Orbitalia looks after.
See the caseBesides client work, we have our own catalogue of plugins with Orbitalia. They are published on a private hub, and each website gets their updates like those of any WordPress plugin.

A schema plugin for each client that owns all the site’s JSON-LD instead of the one the SEO plugin generates.

What you do by hand today or what your website does not do. If an existing plugin solves it, we recommend it.
What it will do, how it is edited, which plugins it works with and what it costs. In writing, before we start.
We build it and you try it on a copy of your website, with your data, before touching the live site.
We install it after a backup and keep it up to date when WordPress, WooCommerce or your theme are updated.
We are a small studio with 8 years of hands-on WordPress experience, working freelance since February 2018. We are based in A Coruña, Spain. You talk to the person who does the work, not to a go-between. We meet by video call and, if you are in Barcelona, in person too. We have worked with WordPress since 2018 and we maintain the plugins we build. Who does the work
It depends on what it does, what it has to connect to and how it is edited. You get a fixed written quote after we look into what you need.
Yes. The code is yours, with its repository and documentation, and you do not depend on us to maintain it.
We review it and adapt it. If you have maintenance with us, it is tested on a copy before your site is updated.
Yes. A plugin does not depend on the theme, and if needed we add it with an Elementor widget or a shortcode.
Yes, if you have the code. If it is a closed plugin that cannot be changed, we replace it with one of your own that does the same, as we did for Transform by Paula.
Often it is, and we will tell you. We build your own when what exists does not fit the way you work or makes you pay for and maintain several plugins for one job.
Tell us what you need and what you work with. We tell you whether an existing plugin is enough or your own pays off, and give you a fixed written quote.
Your first consultation is free. We look at what you tell us and reply within 48 business hours.
