AGENCIA RSE is a small WordPress design and development studio. We have been building websites since February 2018 and today we maintain 39. Here is who is behind it, how we work and what we don't do.

Founder and WordPress developer
Diego founded AGENCIA RSE in February 2018 and handles every project from start to finish: the first conversation, the quote, the design, the build and the maintenance. There are no salespeople or account managers between you and the person working on your site.
When a project needs in-depth SEO, graphic design or copywriting, we work with trusted outside partners, such as the SEO agency Orbitalia (opens in a new tab). Together we build and maintain client websites, and they let us use their Barcelona offices to work and to meet clients.

Where we come from
01. From sound to the web
Diego is a qualified sound technician (Técnico Superior en Sonido), but the web was always what drew him. He started with HTML and CSS around 2006, customising MySpace profiles.
02. Everything multimedia
Sound alone felt too narrow, so he moved into multimedia: video, image, sound and web, all together.
03. The other side of the counter
He worked in electronics sales and in an email marketing team in Uruguay. That is where a habit we keep comes from: thinking about the person who buys and the person who reads, not just the code.
04. WordPress, full time
In February 2018 he went freelance with WordPress and AGENCIA RSE was born. Since then: websites, WooCommerce shops, maintenance and, more recently, AI connected to WordPress.

01. We listen before quoting
You tell us what you need and we look into it. We reply within 48 working hours, and the first consultation is free.
02. We tell you if you don't need it
Before writing code, we check whether a well-known plugin or what you already have solves it. That is usually cheaper to build and to maintain.
03. Fixed quote in writing
You know what is included and what is not before we start.
04. A backup before we touch anything
Every change to a live site is made with a backup first and, where possible, on a staging copy first.
05. A handover you can run yourself
We leave the site documented and show you how to edit it. If you ever change provider, everything is yours: access, code and content.

At the heart of almost everything we do, since 2018.
Page builders
Oxygen was our first project with this kind of builder, and we liked how simple and fast it was. Elementor is the one we have used for most projects over the years. We have tried Bricks, Breakdance and Etch, but we don't yet have a complete project with them to show you; we will soon build our own and test websites with each one.
Speed and diagnostics
PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse to measure before and after every change, plus Google's real-user data when a site has enough traffic.
Custom development
Our own plugins, Astro, Cloudflare Workers and Chrome extensions with Manifest V3.
AI assists us; it doesn't direct us
We use AI every day: to code faster, review code, check copy and try out ideas. The decisions are ours. What gets built, how, and whether it goes live is decided by a person who knows the project, and we review every change before it reaches your site. When we connect AI to a client's website, we do it with limited permissions and a way to undo.
What we don't do
There is work we don't do, even if we're paid for it.
In our work
- We don't invent reviews, case studies or figures, on our site or on yours.
- We don't promise Google rankings or sell fixed SEO packages.
- We don't take on what we can't do well. If your project needs a specialist we are not, we tell you.
- We don't lock you in. No hidden minimum terms, no access only we hold.
Projects we don't accept
- Gambling and betting.
- Businesses that degrade women.
- Companies that actively contribute to environmental degradation, such as oil companies.
- Banks that don't follow ethical criteria.

Do you work alone?
Diego runs every project and does the work. For in-depth SEO, graphic design or copywriting we work with outside partners, such as Orbitalia. Someone will soon join the studio to handle social media.
